Department of Veterans Affairs – Veterans Choice Program and Patient-Centered Community Care

Health Net Federal Services, LLC (HNFS) proudly served our nation’s veterans through the Patient-Centered Community Care (PCCC) program and Veterans Choice Program (VCP), providing the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) significant help in a time of health care crisis for thousands of our nation’s heroes. Veterans who met appropriate criteria were authorized to obtain medical attention from an HNFS provider in Regions 1, 2 and 4. HNFS ensured nearly 1 million veterans received timely health care in their communities.

The VA assumed management of PCCC and VCP on Oct. 1, 2018. We continue to diligently work with our providers and VA to reconcile accounts.

General Services Administration – Military & Family Life Counseling Program

For over 15 years, HNFS has provided worldwide behavioral health and one-on-one non-medical counseling services through the Military & Family Life Counseling (MFLC) Program for active duty service members, National Guard and Reserve, and their family members. The MFLC Program provides short-term, problem-solving situational counseling; includes a robust network of credentialed, trained, and program experienced counselors supporting 130 military installations in 32 states, two U.S. territories and 17 countries.

Military & Family Life Counselors possess an expertise in engaging service members and their families in ways that minimize or mitigate stigma. Counselors receive extensive readiness training and orientation to include military cultural sensitivity training.
